Morning AFF - I trust everyone had a lovely cup day yesterday - I lucked out with the dunce in sweeps, breaking even with last placed Ruscello, and spent the rest of the day enjoying a few bottles of bubbles in Fitzroy Gardens. I certainly wish I didn't need to work today...

Hey All - After a few questions have come through I emailed our host this afternoon, and she has just sent through her responses;

Q - What type of food is available?
A - I have organised some sharing plates Italian, Asian and a game day platter for 20 people.
Q - Is this complementary, or billed at the bar?
A - Accor Head office will be hosting you for the evening so no payment required by you or your guests.
Q - Are there name tags available?
A - Name Tags have been organised for you

Hi all,

I know everyone's November is quickly filling so I thought I'd put this up.

Accor have offered me the use of one of their hotel bars and restaurants for one of my gatherings and I thought AFF would be the best opportunity to use it.

I know it's JessicaTam and Pengal (prob spelled wrong) who normally organise these things though so will leave up to you two.

My out dates (at this stage) are 1/2/3/10/22/23/24/30 and potentially 15/16

I'd be happy to help organise but the only date I could do would be Friday the 8th. Its a busy month, especially with AFF #7 on the last weekend.

Nope - all very up in the air. I am sure we could chose the hotel too. Just want to put the feelers out for interest, potential date and potential numbers before I start talking with him about the specifics.

Certainly interested, as I have missed the last few drinks.
Might be good to work out which day of the week suited people best.
And good to have availability of food.

Yeah we can deff work with dates - best for me at this stage is Friday 8 or 29, or Saturday 9 or 30 so we could work on that as a base I guess?

29th/30th is the AFF shindig in Hobart so a lot of MEL residents will be absent.

Good spot - 8/9 might be too close to the catch up this month, but as i missed it no issue to me. Other option is maybe during the week?

Too much going on at this time of the year for me. That and I'm hardly in Australia for the rest of the year (I'm sure it's probably the same for penegal!)

This sounds great. November is a busy month for me with trips to PER, SYD and SIN, but if I'm free on the day I'll come along.
