The first and second evenings were a success, so if anyone would like to come down for drinks, food and travel discussion, please feel welcome to come along.

Same location as last time, the bar is called 'Aloha Bar & Dining' in Broadbeach. It is located at 18 Main Place, Broadbeach. A small one-way lane parallel to the Gold Coast Highway. If driving, you can park for 3 hours free of charge at the Oasis shopping centre, before walking down to the bar, otherwise there is a parking lot underneath the Phoenician Resort (off Main Place) with parking available for $5. Conveniently, this car parks entrance is directly opposite the bar.

If coming via public transport, Uber will drop you off right outside or there's a tram stop in the centre of the highway, almost opposite the location.

What you're looking for is a graffitied building with a (big) fridge out the front of it and cars parked down the side of it. You walk between the cars to the back of the building, where the entrance is hidden behind some palms. You'll know you're in the right place because there will be golden palms spray painted onto the sidewalk, like a trail of breadcrumbs.

Same as last time, I will be getting there from 6, as happy hour runs from 6 - 8.
