I watched it last night. It was less technical that the ABC doco from a couple of years ago and streets ahead of the cr*p that Ch9 put on.

I was thinking as I was watching it, what happened to the QF32 (LON-SYD) route. Was it canned with the move to DXB?

LHR-SYD runs via DXB

Maybe I'm getting old too, but the computer generated imaging was quite impressive.

So I'm watching this right now.

What are those terrible accents that the pilot actors have? They certainly aren't Aussie!

Can-Aus. A new hybrid accent that covers all bases. I'm not convinced that Cpt De Crispy was so jovial during and after the incident.

This was pretty interesting... a million times better than the ch 9 effort...

Could've used some real interior shots... looks like a run down old DC10 or something

coughpit looks like a home-made flight sim or a preschool play area.

They all sound South African!

Damn that stub pipe... Big ups to the crew once again!

Watched this last night... It certainly wasn't the worst interpretation of QF32 I've seen but I was left feeling quite unimpressed with how cheap the production looked. They could have at least got a coughpit/interior which resembled an A380 coughpit and/or Aussie-sounding pilots who look at least a little bit like the actual pilots! I also thought it left out quite a bit and sort of downplayed the seriousness of the situation, but then again I have read Richard de Crespigny's book which was excellent although probably contained a lot more detail than could fit in a 45 minute TV documentary.
