06:36 and not one aircraft has departed Melbourne yet. All departing passengers have been advised of delays, due to a fuel supply issue. I believe it is a computer issue not an actually low supply issue. Could make for an interesting morning.
Safe travels!

We've just had a notification of a 15 minute delay out of BNE that may of may not be related

Dmac6345, thank you for the post. As usual, the best contributions come from reporters on the spot.

Supposedly the previous problems with the actual fuel supply (pipeline) had been fixed.

It's concerning if 'computer issues' can cause other problems. I am no IT expert but does the computer have a backup facility?

What if some <redacted> terrorists decided to cause havoc?

It doesn't give me the impression that Melbourne Airport's fuel supplies are secure or robust.

The MEL fuel thing this morning was very short-lived - maybe 10 minutes between it being first announced and then declared over.
