Thought I might kick off this thread. No flights for January. Likely only bits and pieces until around June.

Should be sufficient flying to get me to PG again by end of qualifying year, and LTG by end of calendar year, based on ticketed itineraries.

Your data is very similar to mine when it comes to status and lifetime SC's etc and I was comped last year for SG despite only having 120SC's for the year, I was over by 200 SC's the previous year so averaged out I still fell short, there is hope!

hmmm, thanks for the insight, markis10 - having been comped for Plat once, do I get comped for Gold...not my expectation, but happily taken. Should have enough flying for 2010 to obtain/retain Gold

I was also comp'd for WP once, fell the next year to SG as well. I had no expectation either for the comp, especially as I had no email asking my future intentions from QF, it just ticked over two days after the anniversary date!

Um, looks like someone's been flying enough this year to make an cough dent in their seat

And a whole years worth of flying has put you 25% of the way to LTPS. Heavens.

Not really, only 30 or so sectors (a few were awards i think) since my year started in July. I'm sure other people fly much more in the same timeframe. In general it isn't hard to rack up SCs in premium cabins. There were also some creative DONE4 routings along the way.

January:
04JAN QF430 MEL SYD Y
04JAN QF041 SYD CGK Y
04JAN SQ967 CGK SIN Y
11JAN CX714 SIN HKG J
11JAN CX312 HKG PEK J
14JAN KA903 PEK HKG J
15JAN CX717 HKG SIN J
16JAN 3K591 SIN PNH Y
17JAN 3K599 PNH SIN Y

And thanks to CX's cheap J fares (my colleagues all flew SQ SIN-PEK direct, I put myself out, and added extra time to save the company about $700 by routing through HKG, the things we do ...;)) , I just scraped into requalifying for WP before expiry on 31JAN, at 1275 pts (1225 if you don't count the 50 bonus SC's they gave me), so don't need the comp they gave me a little while ago. Save that for another day hopefully.

At least somebody was thinking of their company's profits...but to your advantage.

Hard enough to keep top tier on 1 program, let alone 2..

260 SCs to go? Go for it!!

If you get the letter from Qantas you are a fair chance of getting Gold comped (if you lie well enough!)

By the way where do you get the summary like this
QF
Total sectors: 2
Total miles: 1,718
Total QFF points: 2,578

from?

Hmm, have trips to SYD, MEL, ADL and PER to do by end of Feb, but don't think they will be enough - depends on how many Flexible Fares versus red e-deals I book. Will also depend which ones I link together, or whether I do as separate trips.

Might get a comp for Gold, but not expecting it.

I calculate it myself from the flights taken in the month  using the Information in my QF Activity page. Not a huge ask

I thought there might be a summary I missed or that you had some software. I do get the ABN 'tracker' reports though - haven't looked at them much.

Points/Status Credits earned in Jan 2010?

Curious to see how much people flew in Jan? I'm scaling way back this year, just a quick visit to Perth from Brisbane in Feb for some golf, then nothing until a USA/Canada trip in late April.

I did zero in Jan, compared to last year when I did way too much!
400 SC's and 50,000 points.

Enjoying my life on the ground...Cheers

2 return flights BNE-SYD is the sum total of my flying for Jan - a total of 1830 BIS miles compared to 32384 BIS miles for Jan 2009.

Expecting to retain SQ Gold easily this year, should retain it with the one flight left booked in March, but definitely will be struggling on the QF WP front.
Unless QF show mercy on me, I'll be getting a less shiny card through the post come July. :(
