In addition to fuel and the Dallas tax, Qantas are now introducing a "peak" surcharge

- A surcharge of $25 will apply for all outbound travel from Australia on Fridays and Saturday on routes across the joint network (excluding Singapore, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur).
- A surcharge of $25 will apply for all outbound travel from Australia on Saturdays and Sundays (Qantas operated services) and on Fridays and Saturdays (Emirates operated services) for travel to Thailand.
