A family member just told me they have QFF points expiring in 10 days time. My first thought was that they should transfer them to me but after looking at the website it says that family transfers does not count as activity including preventing the points from expiring. Does anyone know if the points will still expire after it hits my account? Also QF does not charge a fee for the transfer do they?

Do they have an EDR card or a CC that get QF points? All they need is one simple transaction and all the points are safe.

Transferring has no cost involved.

Once they are in your account, they will expire based on the schedule of your account. Anything remaining in their account will still expire.

just an idea, how about taking an award flight somewhere? Won't cost anything, will count as activity, and prevents the remainder from disappearing.

Just sign up online for the EDR card and do an online shop at BigW for $31, or buy the cellarmasters offer at $69 and score a bonus 1k
