Hi All,

I recieved an invitation to meet with Lesley Grant (Qantas Customer Loyalty CEO) for coughtails on 13Mar13. The invitation reads:

Please join us at an exclusive event in Melbourne

Dear Dot

You've been making the most of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and it hasn't gone unnoticed.

As a highly valued member of the program, I would like to invite you to attend a coughtail function to thank you for your loyalty over the last year and allow me to share some exciting developments for the year ahead.

I know Lesley is also hosting the event in Sydney the day prior for which Red Roo has offered 20 tickets to, so I am wondering if she if doing a tour of the capitals and how 'exclusive' this event actually is. Did you get an invitation too?

Unfortunately, I will most likely be in in DAR (via QF63 to JNB of course), so it's unlikely I will be able to attend - but I'll keep my options open until the RSVP date just in case my DAR trip gets postponed.

I too recived this today for the Sydney venue

Will just be back from Canada skiing in time and am curious about the

" and allow me to share some exciting developments for the year ahead."

Hopefully there will be some AFFer's along

Maybe drinks before hand or afterwards????????

I make lots of QFF points and only a WP, so curious what the crtieria is for the invite???

:D

I doubt she will be coming to Adelaide, in the current QFF climate here.

I'm not criticising. If I was her, I wouldn't be coming to Adelaide either. I'm sure the bean counters did their calculations and worked out that on balance if QF loses its international Adelaide travellers to SQ or MH, it will still work out ahead overall financially with the changes to Asia flights and expected other bookings on the new/"improved" flights. Personally I'm not convinced that the bean counters factored in enough of the intangible damage to passenger loyalty with cancelling the only QF international flights to/from Adelaide, but that may yet prove to be another story.

Lesley is doing Perth.

Could turn out to be the reverse.

Hope she will be "told" by the lucky guests. This obviously doesn't include me, but maybe she knew I'd be in Europe.

Nothing sent to me, though I only did 1200 SC in the last membership year (by choice). Just received my new WP card today too :)

Haven't been invited to anything in Sydney
I choose to believe that's because I'll be invited to the lunch

Extra delusional today...

An invitation from Lesley Grant, Qantas Customer Loyalty DEO

Nothing here either, fingers crossed for the comp ;)

I'm lucky to be invited on-board with a fully paid J ticket ;) , so certainly no expectations of getting a seat at any of these events.

My points last year were well into the seven figures

Maybe that's the key

The invite arrived just as the snow did

I think I will write to thank her for being the powder fairy

The show is coming to BNE as well. I've got an invite for the 14th.

Any other AFF'rs going to be there?
