Just received an invitation in the inbox to a Hangar 96 B787 Event on Oct 27th

Invitation suggests a reveal of the internals, but I wonder whether they'll name the first route at the same time?!

Very happy to see QF adopt the 787. But "cutting edge" ?? I think they managed to miss that boat - it is half a decade since ANA started using them.

I also received an invitation but unfortunately will not be in the country . What a shame as I would have been there with bells on .

There was a note at the bottom of the invitation: "This invite is non-transferrable"

Cutting edge is really something that should be confined to knives. Buying the second, or third, version of something makes much more sense. Especially when you can't just abandon it by the side of the road!

Would totally ditch work to attend. (unless you are my boss and reading this then i was only joking i will totally be at work and paying 100% attention and not refreshing AFF or AusBT to get the low down)

Gaahh! And I was just about to ask you to transfer to me .

If it's only NSW peeps getting an invite, how do I tell the right person at QF that I'm one of them at the moment .
