The other night i passed the old total to get PG of 2100SC.

since then the line that had Additional credits required for bonus has vanished.

Has anyone else hit the mark and noticed the same?

Re: change of display on the status page

Well there are no bonuses after 2000 SCs so I would expect this. I am surprised there isn't "300 SCs for extra platinum benefits"

sorry, that's what i meant.. it was there when it was on 2080 but vanished on 2100

Re: change of display on the status page

Well that is strange and slightly depressing - another reminder of another reduction in benefits.

Re: change of display on the status page

Odd. Mine has this:

Current Status: PlatinumStatus reassessment will occur: 30 Nov 2012
Status credits earned from 01 Dec 2011: 0
Additional Status credits required by 30 Nov 2012 to receive additional Platinum privileges 2,400

It was there yesterday, and is still there today. I made >2400 SCs last year (all on QF, for the first time ever) - dunno if that has anything to do with it

Mine did the same thing ... now my year has reset to 0 and it is back again. Obviously a fault in the code that hides the display at the old 2100 SC level rather than the correct 2400 SC level.

Re: change of display on the status page

My appears the same. I am currently on 2395 SCs and the message about 2400 is not there. I hadn't noticed it was missing until you mentioned it. While it was there a few weeks ago. So looks like it disappears at 2100.

Re: change of display on the status page

Mine currently says:

Current Status: Platinum
Status reassessment will occur: 31 Mar 2012
Status credits earned from 01 Apr 2011: 2,040
Additional Status credits required by 31 Mar 2012 to receive additional Platinum privileges: 360

I'll hit 2,100 this week (next Saturday I think), so it'll be interesting to see what it says.

Yep, I've got the glitch as well:

Re: change of display on the status page

It looks as though the system still thinks that 2100 SC's is PG.

Once you get to 2400 SC's you get to choose the "additional platinum privilege" you want.

Interestingly it says nothing about the next "Platinum One" level.

Re: change of display on the status page

I thought the glitch only kicked in once people were hitting 2100 SC YTD. That might not apply to you just yet. ;)

Yeah it was doing that, but I also had the problem when my year rolled over that it told me I needed 2400 SCs for additional benefits, and seemed to ignore the first milestone of 1200 for Plat re-qualification.

Oh, and I should be close to PG in about 2 months ;)

Whats up with QF Partner Gold Qualification Level?

Has anyone else here experienced this. For a while I had xx_ SC's required to obtain extra benefits (or something like that) which would have totalled a 2400 membership year earn. However I have recently noticed that after going over the 2100 SC's (coincidence maybe) this line was no longer appearing in my account summary.

So I hunted around on the QF website and found this;
If you have not already nominated complimentary Gold membership for your partner, when you reach 2,400 Status credits^^ in one membership year, you have the choice of one of the following rewards
  • complimentary Gold membership for a family member or friend or
  • three complimentary Qantas Valet Parking or Chauffeured Transfer invitations++ or
  • a bonus of 50,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points
^^ Status credits are earned an eligible flights with Qantas, QantasLink, Jetstar, oneworld® alliance airlines and Air Pacific.

found here Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Platinum Benefits - Platinum

Does that mean because I have already nominated partner gold, that this still kicks in at 2100, but if I was to choose one of the other three rewards i would be required to earn the 2400 SC's?

Partner Gold at 2100 was the old option, there was a time when both options co-existed as QF gave notice of the change, but that option is now gone.

There is also some sort of website glitch between 2100 and 2400, with not display the SC required for the extra benefits.

The same thing happened to me about 6 months ago, I ended up calling up to investigate however the assistant on the other line was as confused as i was.
It turned out to be just a display glitch, at 2400 SC I was still asked to make a decision on which extra benefit I wanted. I think its fair to say the same will be applied to others in the same situation.
