Is anybody able to identify what this means? Was I comped Gold? I didn't earn enough to requalify, but the part throwing me off is that it still says

"Status Reassessment Will Occur on 31st Oct 2014"

Is it just an bug and I'll get busted back to Silver over the next few days?

Can't remember exactly all details but very similar info when I dropped from P1 to Platinum recently and did not receive my new card at the usual time. For a couple of days after my year ended, it still showed me as P1, but with zero credits and the 'to retain P1 you need...' Reality was I had only earned enough points for Gold. Because I was about to travel and didn't have new card, was worried about Q Cash card use etc, I called premium line. In the course of discussion was advised the system didn't send me a new card as it was waiting in case I earned enough to retain P1 (never going to happen - 2900 SCs in a few days, but ok, good to know).

Within 3 or 4 days it righted itself. I soft landed to WP, system all reports levels correctly.

So my guess is you will drop back to silver (especially as an assessment is still to occur 31/10/14 - if that said 2015 I'd think differently). For your sake I hope I am wrong!

I think this has happened to others in the past, and it is just the QF IT apprentice taking a few extra days to update your status.

Until the status reassessment date changes, status shown is considered to be temp.

The apprent retention of status has been like this since maybe that IT apprentice was being weaned.

Such status hangs around for up to a week - presumably just in case some late crediting SC's may arrive; if (as is generally the case) they don't then status drops.

If one were being comped, then the reassessment date would have likely already changed to 2015.

But, yes, the latter 2015 dates are obviously incorrect. SWMBO's account gets similar:

It has nothing to do with the IT apprentice, as this puerile comment tries to make out. When dropping status, there has nearly always been a lag of a few days as any flights in the last few days of your status year can take a few days to post to your account.

Sadly, the delay in dropping is true. Mine showed WP for a couple of days after 'demotion' and disappeared on the day I was flying HKG - SYD (though the boarding pass probably would have been the correct status so I really couldn't have hoped for too much).
I remember the days when QFF used to send an email (or was that a letter - it seems so long ago) to see if you were planning any trips before dropping or comping you a level.

I can confirm there is a lag of a few days for status to change. In my case it was four days. As others have said, this is to allow time for any flights taken close to the anniversary date to credit.

I was seeing the same yesterday, but now the dreaded drop is done (after a sad 12 months of travel for me - corporate travel freeze didn't help).

Dropped back to PS today. Ill have to get onto Travel Team to organise Corporate QC Membership!

Is Travel Team cheaper or here cheaper to get into with "corporate QP membership", whether group or individual managed?
Or no difference in discount of $70/$270?

Our Corporate Rate is

1 Year
$200 Joining Fee, + $240 Annual Fee, so $440 all up

2 Year
$200 Joining Fee + $420 Annual Fee, so $620 all up

If my QF SG is to be like the life time of my QF PS FF card, I will have to look at QP payment again in Dec 17, but will probably support AFF if its still going by then.
I do note Travel Team is cheaper.
