Hi All,

Looking for help for a Status run while I'm in the USA.

I have been lucky enough to get the Double Status Credits and will be in the US in Orlando FL on Sun 31st July.
What would the best Status Run be out of Orlando?
Trying to get to gold and will need about 320 - 390 credits.

Any ideas?

Two points;

1. I assume you mean 31st July (not June?)
2. Double SCs only apply to flights with QF flight numbers

Thanks serfty.

Thanks it's 31st July.

Is there a way to book a JASA out of Orlando to get the QF number?

Cheers
Chris

You can only book Qantas codeshare flights from Orlando back to Australia, are there any.

Look for anything far away MCO to anywhere that Southwest or Jetblue flies, stick 2 cities into americanairlines.com.au select First Class and see what is cheap.

DEN is pricing at $761 each way; pick the different flight numbers or even try Austin which I think is $634 each way.

120SCs to DFW then 60SCs to AUS or 90SCs to DEN each way.

Check Serftys suggestions anything Carribean but remember once you leave US soil then the overseas leg is then J only.

Thanks the information is good but I'm trying to find out how to book them thru QF so I can get Double Status Credits, I need it to be a QF number and also if it's possible to use my QF points to book it.
Any ideas?

Thanks Bundy, that's what I needed to know.
Cheers

Looks like just standard Status Credits via AA.
