One of the things I've noticed of late is a lot of questions along the lines of "I need X status credits, how do I".
A common problems with these threads is the information provided by the OP is often lacking to give good advice that will actually allow members to help.
To this end, I would like to propose a sticky to cover this question that'll hopefully go some way to assist us in giving better advice to members. The sticky would be something along the following lines (see below).
I'd appreciate everyone's input on if having this sticky would be of use, and if the mix of information is right - or what questions should be added/removed, to deliver the best outcomes.

Minimum information
So to assist other forum members in answering your status credits question, we ask that you provide the following basic information in your post:
- What is your current status. Hint: Use the acronyms for the various QF status levels (found in this thread, link to be added).
- When does your qualifying year end.
- How many status credits have you earned to date this qualifying year?
- Are you eligible and registered for any promotions that increase your status credit earning? Hint: Provide details of the offer either as text, or a link to the relevant AFF thread.
- How often do you fly.
- What booking class do you usually fly (J = Business, Y+ = Premium Economy, Y = Full Economy, Y- = Discount Economy)
- What is your home airport.
- How many points do you currently have (to the nearest thousand), and if you are saving these points for a future planned use.
- What are your frequent flyer goals or intended outcomes from reaching this new status level? Some possible goals could be; using it a stepping stone to another tier, status matching, preferences & privileges when travelling on other alliances, lounge access or enhance points earning for future planned
- What destinations do you visit the most.
Answering the following questions will assist further, but this information is optional:
- How many trips do you have planned/booked between now and the end of your qualifying year.
