Flexiroam X
Roaming sticker sim-card for over 100 countries - works in conjunction with existing SIM (although not simultaneously - its essentially like swapping SIMs)
https://youtu.be/CXejhTnE9oY

Offer: 100 MB Free signup.
My benefit: 100 MB.
Code: 34WKPP
Link: http://web.flexiroamx.com

Costs:
FREE - To download and begin earning free data - a bunch of 100-300MB codes around (check the Flexiroam facebook page and twitter - I'm above 1000MB, and it looks like they will be running more promos over the Olympics)
US$9.99 - 12mth subscription - needed to be able to use the data
US$5 - Postage for the "Sticker SIM"
US$29.99 - 1GB data pack (if you run out of free data)

Applying the Sticker SIM was pretty easy - they essentially supply a blank plastic card that you drop your existing SIM into - although i had to use a knife to ensure the sticker sim lifted away properly.

Switching SIMs is pretty easy
Apple - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dl29Ik64kEI
Android - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E__Vux4Ef0A

Gotcha's
Minimum charge per hour = 10MB... Thus you want to be switching roaming data on/off or you are up for 240MB... Given most hotels have Wifi I figure you could get away with a few hours of use per day when oversesas if you are thinking about it, so even on paid data it could work out at about A$2/day which is pretty good.

I havent used it overseas yet but have tested on Android in Australia.

If you are thinking of travelling - and want a simple adhoc data SIM it looks pretty good.
Might as well sign up see if you can build up some data, then decide if you want it.

Mine is now firmly attached to my Orange Spain SIM - E1/day in Europe, and Flexiroam for other places.

Hi there...
10MB per hours minimum charge
I just want to make a quick correction that Flexiroam charges users nothing more than the data they use - the dashboard displays Data balance in GB, rounded off to 2 decimal places. This is probably the reason for not being able to view the exact number data credit (in KB or MB) deducted at any point in time. HTH

For those looking to sign up..
You can get at least 700MB for free.
100MB for signing up
100MB for a referral code - mine posted above
500MB for code SAVEONROAMING - valid till ,31/12/16 for new users only.

I've used it in six countries now and think it's brilliant.

Being a sticker, especially good for most people with only a single SIM phone

Think most of the above codes are now expired.

Possible to get 500MB free at the moment.

100MB by signing up using referral code - 34WKPP
Referral link, 100MB free for you and me:
roam.my/34WKPP

400MB by linking to Facebook within the downloaded app (this shares email and friends list, but can be deactivated thereafter within Facebook)

There also seems to be the ability from the website to get a US$29.99 Inc 1GB and 1yr subscription (plus US$6.90 shipping to Australia). Alternatively can be purchased at KLIA and KLIA2 in Malaysia.

I assume the old $9.99 1yr only subscription still exists but can't check as I have a current subscription.

As mentioned before Flexiroam is brilliant for quick trips and moderate (under 50-100MB data usage). Any more and the effort to get a local SIM becomes more relevant
