These guys are in my opinion one of the better discount wines sites (way better that WineMarket, GWD, or IMO even Epiquire) and certainly better than Coles/Woolies.

The deal is use my link and get $25 off (I get $25 also)

http://www.winedirect.com.au/?group=MattsMates&ref=UGlqRU95V1o0VzQ9

No compulsion! Some very good mixed dozen offers also. As an added bonus they are one of the Amex Bonus Partners, use a direct Amex and get 5 bonus points per $.

Moet ~12% more expensive than Dans if you buy 6!

Yes, well you'll notice I didn't mentions Dans, having said that my personal opinion these days is that Dan's is good for its loss-leaders but not always that cheap, Champagne probably being the one exception where they seem consistently good value (probably the volume). Because I have a Dan's near I go in a fair bit but dont actually buy from them much

Anyway each to their own, I'm not forcing anyone to buy but suggesting its worth looking and offering a way to get $25 if you see anything you like. Best value in my opinion is undoubtedly the packs plus if you get on their email list you occassionally get super-specials, I for one find hard to resist. Your experience may differ and thats just fine by me.

As an example (but only as I love big Aussie reds) A Dozen Shiraz Worth $546 for $250

Some months offers are just average, other times my card gets a work out!

Do you realise Winemarket= Woolies?

I was aware that they were owned by Cellarmasters and Cellarmasters were owned by Woolies. But probably hadn't paid that much attention, its not that I am anti Coles/Woolies, I'll happily buy good wine off them at a good price if they offer it, its just that they rarely do and I find some of the independants better value (only some I might note, independants are just as capable of overcharging).

Winedirect are running a 30% off sale on a pick your own dozen using the code choose30 at checkout. Using the credit with the 30% off gives some really good priced deals.

Use my link and also get $25 credit

Welcome to Wine Heaven

As an example Dandelion Lionheart of The Baroosa, great wine, plenty of bling. RRP about $30, regularly $20 in winedirect and with 30% off down to $14/bottle plus you get the $25 on signing up.

(OH NO, NOW SOLD OUT!) You recently could get $360 worth of grenache for $65 delivered if referred (or $90 if not referred). So bargains to be had!

If you'd like to use my referral to get $25 credit (I will also receive $25 credit for referring you) please click this link:

Cheers!

I ordered a mixed case of my own choosing with RRP $248 for $148 (by using both a referral credit and the CHOOSEWINE coupon code), which makes this about as good as the recent $100-off Cellarmasters offer - except that the range on offer is a lot better.

Here's what I got at an average of < $12.40 / bottle:

2013 Jim Barry The Lodge Hill Shiraz (93pts JH; 3x gold)
2013 Oliver's Taranga Shiraz (95pts JH)
2014 Claymore Dark Side of the Moon Shiraz (good track record; 8/10 vintage for the Clare)
2014 Hand Crafted by Geoff Hardy Lagrein (sounds interesting and different; decent track record)
2014 Purple Hands Wines Mataro Grenache Shiraz (95pts JH)
2014 Zonte's Footstep Chocolate Factory Shiraz (94pts Tony Keys)
2014 Paxton MV Shiraz (93pts JH)
2014 Paxton Quandong Farm Single Vineyard Shiraz (95pts JH)
2015 Zonte’s Footstep Hills are Alive Shiraz (reportedly an excellent vintage for Adelaide Hills; decent winemaker; must be worth a try)
2013 Five Geese McLaren Vale Shiraz (very consistent track record for quality)
2013 Dandelion Lioness of the McLaren Vale Shiraz (4 gold; good track record)
2013 Houghton Crofters Frankland River Shiraz (94pts JH)

And if that's inspired you at all, here's my own referral link! ;) https://www.winedirect.com.au/?group=grapeexpectations&ref=Si9WU0EzR3RZbkk9
