My experience is different. I called using the generic phone number got through within 20min. My issue was easy to solve, but I wasn't waiting on hold for 5 hours like qantas.

problem with the standard search is it wont let you mix and match classes like the multi city search allows. ie; if you search biz reward on the normal search and there isn't 2 biz reward flights for the route you want, it wont anything show up. but if you go multi city, it will - it will just...
