Good tip. Booked a hire car through Avis UK for my Hotel (hilton) tomorrow for $55. Gonna take a drive up to ritidan point. I hear the road is in sh*thouse condition up there though. What GPS app did you use? I brought my USA garmin with me but guam wasn't on it.

Only just hit me today that I'll no longer be able to use my DM miles on Star Alliance. Glad I have a heavy amount of flights on a Guam trip in three weeks, then it will be onto getting my head around the oneworld system and learning the new loopholes etc.

Went on a 2 month holiday to the USA in 2012 and drove in many cities for a big chunk of it. I found it hard to beat avis.co.uk especially with the US Airways Avis worldwide discount code. Consistantly beat most other websites.

Re: 2 cases of Asahi at Vintage Cellars and get a Samsonite Inova 55cm Spinner Suitc Great beer. My 10 cartons got me through most of the hot Adelaide summer. Haven't got the bags yet but saw them at Myer for sale......$349!

I just completed 5 transactions about an hour ago. The first 4 were instant. The last hasn't gone through yet. Points still in the account of the one trading from and not in the account trading to yet. Is that common? I got a transaction ID and funds have come off the credit card.
