Just tagging on to this thread, does JQ have bag drop? If the check in counters don't open then perhaps OLIC and bag drop could get us in? Would like to access the F lounge a bit earlier for a MEL-CHC flight if possible.

I think it's a worthy keeper card mainly for the FNC and the credits. You could get 3 nights (1 FNC + 200 credit x2) at Hilton Queenstown or Surfers Paradise if you wanted something local.

Just FYI, frequent use of the check spend tool will trigger FR. It's a pretty well known trigger for Amex.
