Yes @ramamba Good Drinks Australia had quite a few lessons over some years. Latest figures looked sweet. Now I like their Matsos ginger beer and they also market Coors beer that I like. Today we got placements in HMC and Eureka which is EGH. Eureka is warming up to acquire retirement villages.

Expect the marketing guru director to have his last few minutes on the Qantas board. We had a meeting clash so we are going to an AGM at Rydalmere. Enjoy the show @RooFlyer.

We bought into Good Drinks Australia over the past 6 months. Their recent report was promising. That is GDA.

We have lots of GDG shares that have been on a tear recently. They are outperforming in the retirement and annuity sectors. Grant Hackett is the CEO. That is Generation Development. Today WAM went ex dividend so the share price adjusted by the cash amount plus the franking credit. Meanwhile...

The SPI was up 44 so it could be a reasonable start on Monday for our ASX. We are in Adelaide and it is warming up. Our granddaughter now has a series of hybrid bank securities in her mothers name to help fund her education. We went for CBAPM , AN3PI, NABPH and WBCPL a few months ago.

Thanks for the reminder @MARTINE. We took a placement in Turaco which is TCG to hasten their progress with their Ivory Coast gold discovery.Mrscove does not like Africa as an investment area but we had a gold mine development in NSW stopped.

Yes @Happy Dude many have now watched that Four Corners episode. We now need government intervention as some signed exit fees at 35% after a renovation that the occupant pays to bring the property back to its original condition.

Yes @serfty that is a difference between Australia and the US. We bought a “short sale” over in the US during their last recession and the property seller was not required to pay the shortfall on the mortgage. He just moved out quickly and never bothered to pay the HOA dues but popped up on...

I have a family member based in Melbourne and between him and Macro Business reports on Victoria the downside may run for some years. He has invested in Perth after selling some places in Melbourne. The whole Australian housing market is now overpriced but that doesn’t mean that there will be a...

Tonight we are housing around 160 folks in our social housing business. We had thought that we could get up to 400 but red tape and NIMBYs have slowed our progress. The change in values in WA has made acquisitions more difficult. Separately we invested in Aspen Group who have had success in...

I don’t disagree with you @drron. In New Zealand prices are dropping now even though interest rates are being cut. Perth real estate is being chased by eastern states buyers. Riverfront properties are going to mainly Indian and Chinese buyers. Bank of mum and dad must be getting stretched now.

We do not consider Victoria as being a State where we can consider buying more real estate. Land taxes are going to continue to rise to put a bandaid over the financial mess that continues to grow. We do have a 3,000 square metre office/warehouse and an apartment in Southbank but nothing more.

Actually both Sydney and Melbourne real estate auction results seem to be tanking. Buyers are maxed out it seems. Saw clearance rates below 60%.

With Judo Bank I bought some more. Now have JDO and JDOPA. One in my family suggested I slow down with investing but it is something I like to do. Whether Cyclopharm beats QPM will be a wait and see. We hold both.

    Long layover at Changi airport

We buy IHG points at their promo deal so Crowne Plaza Changi at 38,000 IHG points has a cost of $190 USD. Mrscove did not like the Ambassador Hotel at all.

Great memory @prozac. I do wonder who got Rene’s worry beads. Insider trading is still a crime but very few have ended up in prison. I do hope you are enjoying the stock markets going up and down.
