I think the winery site was sold elsewhere, don't know about the vineyards, no idea where the wines are made. They did buy other labels in Barossa, I think one had a substantial winery site.

If you like them big and ripe, It's 15.5%, not the default 14% in the VM listing. Only 50 6-packs available, well 49 after mine.

There are some people (I know one) that enjoy young cellaring-style cabernets. But I've stopped buying them because I generally don't like them under 10-12 years and my partner will only tolerate some at 15+ years. And too often the fruit, oak and tannins mellow nicely, but the acid dominates...

Black Label needs 10+ years to be enjoyable unless you are a masochis_. I've got a couple of 2008 and a few 2012 that are probably waiting for the odd cabernet fan at my wake.

On first taste from memory of the Strawberry Hill it was a little raw with hard edges and jarring acid. I haven't tried one since, but on first impressions this is much nicer. I'll eventually try them together, but not today.
