Just got an email from Qantas that they cancel QF84 on 20 December, and moved me onto QF82 30 mins earlier. Any idea/clue why they would do that so far out? Aircraft used somewhere else or is the Finnair flight running differently? I would have expected a full QF84 shortly before XMAS…...

I just left the QF F Lounge - there is HEAPS of space over there!

It’s a variation of Singapore‘s Chili Crab that you would get at the likes of Jumbo‘s MBS outlet - but instead of crab they used shrimps - it was delicious and extremely tasty. It‘s today‘s special.

I can confirm multiple success stories on this one with QF award to Jakarta and revenue on QR to ZRH via DOH. Check-in at SYD INTL J, needed some massaging of the check-in agents though. All were aware of the policies but did definitely not wanted to actively do it 😂

I will work on it next Monday on my bi-weekly MH SIN - KUL hop in Y . I always laugh about that one as my airfare is around SGD 250 return, and I spend 4 hours + beforehand in the QF F lounge making the most of it 😉

Rumour has it that VH-EBD was supposed to operate QF35 but an astray container from Philippines Airlines bumped into one of the engines of VH-EBD which lead to the aircraft swap.

Looks like QF7 is delayed until very late due to missing a Dreamliner in SYD, using the incoming aircraft from Santiago landing at 2030. Might be a close one to curfew…

yes - agree, silly me, a lot happened to that airframe on Friday. So with VH-ZNC out, it looks all REALLY tight for QFi Dreamliner operations 🤪

- Do they have an A330 spare who could to the Honolulu run? Or cancel honolulu? - all Dreamliner seem to be up in the air except VH-ZNC (damaged in Perth), VH-ZNL (to run QF73 tonight), and where is VH-ZNN? It was supposed to fly to Perth on 23 Aug but FR24 has not recorded a flight.

I think there might be a much bigger problem to that - see my post in the Qantas Main Forum and picture attached that apparently shows VH-ZNC in PER after landing today according to (unverified social media)

Just saw pictures of apparently VH-ZNC that performed FCO - PER and was damaged upon landing in PER. Comments say it may have been due to debris on the runway and fire trucks were dispatched. Anyone with proper information? Is this likely to further throw QFi into schedule chaos? How long to...

I see that quite often in my App. When you book SIN - KUL runs, some are codeshared with Malaysian airlines. So you book MH but are on SQ plane, then that shows up in the app.

I know - this is not QF food but maybe - if QF staff reads this - but of an inspiration. This is the Y food served on JAL 712 from SIN to NRT a couple of days ago. Puts QF at shame I guess 🙈🙈🙈

Correct, there is only one ANA plane leaving later, and the rest is cargo.
