It was probably that one. Had direct access down a lift to the boarding gate. Very big Business Lounge. 2 large buffet areas, other speciality food areas, 5-6 separate seating areas, some with dining tables. Capacity of many hundreds of people I would guess. And it was packed!

I wouldn't have a record of that sorry. But I take the point. There are many lounges! 1725429300 I'll try to check. Though it was huge........ Think Q Club Sydney x 3 at least

Thanks for the feedback. I only asked as the DXB lounge whilst large, was so full when I was there, it was hard to even find a seat, let alone a quiet area. Maybe it is not normally that busy.............

I'll confess that I'm not 'that' frequent a flyer these days, but on trips to Europe from Australia have tended to fly Emirates. (I gave up using Qantas as I can't use QF points to upgrade a QF flight as it's on an EK aircraft anyway.......) On my last trip to Europe I got sick both ways...

I'll probably be leaving from Paris or Madrid, but if it was London, it's easy to jump on a cheap flight to somewhere else....like Paris or Madrid.

We ended up booking SYD-MEL-DEL-CDG-LHR. getting off in Delhi for a few days. All in Biz Class. Now looking at some creative returns. As we are travelling around Europe a bit, we have a range of departure cities. Paris, London, Madrid, Frankfurt, Rome......... Coming back through US seems...

Yes, good points. A lot of variables. Menu options Local ingredients Local catering company Equipment on board to prepare/reheat/serve the food..... Though having said that, I've never had a bad seat or bad food on a 'real' Qantas Business class flight anywhere. This really was barely above...

Hard to tell with the Catering. Certainly not up to Qantas standard. Luke warm soup etc. Dishes were certainly not QF standard. But it may have been down to the prep, who knows. As we'd eaten in the club, we just went to sleep...... It was AY aircraft and crew. AY safety video etc. Nothing...

A350-900? Looked at some YT videos. They seemed OK. Pity about the food. I thought Air France might be good :rolleyes: We only have 1 hour between flights at CDG. Very close! So plan to travel with only hand luggage!
