They don't, and simply having type rated pilots is not enough. Each airline must have their pilot procedures approved and they would not be allowed to crew a UA flight.

They are not allowed to even if they are the same type rating (added to which Qantas has none with this type rating). Plus how would it even help, since UA already has pilots in Sydney?! I can't beleive some of the "facts" I have seen in the media and on twitter today, like one lady claiming...
