Qantas apologises to frequent flyers with status extensions, lounge passes, points & more reward seats

I'm ringing to book award flights (can't login on web or app) and am on hold. I'm platinum and it asked for my FF number but not my pin so I assume I'm in the queue with no status members.

Qantas extends status extensions until end June 2023 (previously December 2022)

Re the status credit rollover; is it the case that only status credits earnt flying will rollover into the new membership year? Ie last years rolled over status support rollover won’t rollover into this year? Eg In May 2021 I had 235 status credits rollover with the description “STATUS SUPPORT...

Amex MR to Marriott Bonvoy transfer bonus

I have a large AMEX MR points balance and I've always felt it safe to leave points parked there as I can transfer them where necessary. But I'm strongly considering taking up this offer and transferring a good chunk over to Marriott to take advantage of the US airline redemptions which are much...

    New Amex statement credits

FYI, I've received the credit previously when spending on flights.

    New Amex statement credits

Wish Amex AU would make it easy and make AA or other US airlines a transfer partner.

    Sounds right to me.

    New Amex statement credits

I was referring to transferring points from Amex>Marriott>AA or Alaska. One other thing is Marriott offer a bonus from transfers to Alaska of 5k bonus miles for every 60k miles transferred. Not sure if this applies to other airlines also.

    New Amex statement credits

Yes I definitely want to look into both AA and Alaska redemptions.

    New Amex statement credits

So when taking into account the 50% bonus the MR:Marriott rate is effectively 1:1, as you said. Marriott:US airlines is 3:1 so using the Amex Platinum card as as example which earns 2.25points/$ you can effectively earn US airline miles at a rate of 0.75 miles per $ spent.

    RewardPay Alternatives

I guess if you put say a 75k purchase through Pay you'd be charged 1.9% + gst which would be a fee of $1567.50 and on top of this you're paying $165/month for a grand total of $1732.50. Using my Amex platinum card I'd receive 2.25points/$ so this transaction would fetch me 172,648 Amex MR points...

    RewardPay Alternatives

Has anyone used pay.com.au? I came across them via PointsHacks: https://www.pointhacks.com.au/product-guide/payrewards/ Their program seems a little more complex than Rewardspay but from my brief research it looks like if you spend $165/month to join their "Premium" plan then you will be...

Anyone stayed at Sebel Kiama and can comment on what to expect as Accor platinum?

Has anyone ever received a retention bonus on the free reserve card?

Flight delayed, missed connection and abandoned by Qantas

Not exactly the same scenario but I had F classic award seats for SYD-LAX on QF11. The inbound flight got cancelled so QF was saying my flight was delayed by 24 hours. As QF platinum I rang the premium line and was offered to fly AA direct on J or CX via HKG also on J. I asked for EK F via DXB...

Qantas WiFi (aka Qantas inflight Internet)

What sort of speeds will I get on Qf? I’m flying Syd-per on A330 on Friday and hoping to stream the nba finals.

Qantas Business Class meals & menus

What's coast to coast breakfast looking like nowadays? I'm flying SYD-PER this week 8.25am departure. Am I better off getting brekky in the J lounge?
