Are the ITA segments EY-coded ? Those segments will not earn anything on Velocity but could be good to claim those one via Etihad Guest to get some points otherwise not-claimable via Virgin.

What does Virgin Money consider a 'month'? If I am to apply today, will I have 30 days to make the required spending or are we talking calendar month ie. 10 days to get the card before the end of the month + spend? Just want to double-check before I apply and get a mark on my credit report.

A notable point - if crediting VA Marketed & VA Operated sectors to SQ, you'll only get mileage to spend. No Elite status miles for SQ Krisflyer. Has to be SQ-marketed/VA-operated.

I find it interesting that QF elites get an extra allowance on AF/KL flights - however, AF elites get nil on QF-operated sectors. EDIT - Flying Blue elites do apparently have an extra piece of luggage, however, I was denied twice on QF domestic services this year so that might be relatively new...

Can you pay the remaining via their PayID solution to reduce the delay until Amex acknowledges the payment? Completely instant and the balance updates in less than 5 minutes usually. You have to set up PayID via the AMEX portal first but then it's instant and quite convenient.

Have the same observation. I was however able to redeem two J tickets to Europe with three weeks' notice for European Summer (Aug 2023/ Sep 2023). There were F/J awards to London - then everything disappeared and tickets reappeared for MAD & Paris.

We were able to enter AA Admiral lounges throughout the US on AA-issued tickets with AA flight numbers with QF QC.
