    Qantas domestic economy meals

Maybe this thread title needs changing. These are not meals!

Qantas Increases Legroom Charges; Changes to Row 4 selection on most 737 flights

Or it just proves the complete lack of innovation in QF Y. They have failed to offer extra legroom sections such as US airlines have offered for so long and thus provide no product differentiation to understand what people might actually have been willing to pay for (answers given to surveys are...

Qantas rolls out Classic Plus Flight Rewards

Especially with the QF UI. I was just looking to see what's available. I ask for J rewards and it gives me Y. I ask for PE $ fares mel-lhr and it gives me 737 mel-per after a bunch of A330 to SIN. Does the ribbon tell you what class of CR is available or does it always just show from Y rates...

Qantas A380 refurbishment news and updates

Those seats should/would have been installed with a greater pitch so they'd lose rows, and what to do with all that extra width in the A380? Add an extra seat to each aisle?

    China Airlines business class?

Sounds like a more local airline experience to me.

"... we'll shortly announce a major investment to improve our Frequent Flyer program"

But if someone is prepared to be patient and takes longer to earn that million points, then they should still be able to get that CR, just less regularly. And as per your own example, then let the P1 pay that same CR+ redemption rate if they are indeed equivalent to the PC+ earner. Perhaps...

"... we'll shortly announce a major investment to improve our Frequent Flyer program"

Loyal doesn't necessarily mean frequent though. If you loyally earn QF points and only fly a couple of times a year, why should you be excluded from access to CR seats? That's precisely the premise of PC.

"... we'll shortly announce a major investment to improve our Frequent Flyer program"

In true QANTAS fashion, "shortly" had come and gone.

"... we'll shortly announce a major investment to improve our Frequent Flyer program"

This becomes a short term thing. People will eventually realise the currency is worth much less than they thought. As someone else pointed out you are not looking at the cost of the equivalent QF fare, but the price of the BFOD in that cabin.

"... we'll shortly announce a major investment to improve our Frequent Flyer program"

P1s are probably the last people they should be asking if they're looking to understand mass market sentiment.

Was that main as small as it looks?

    What cheeses me off

Not entirely sure about that. Just like we a need for a licence for humans to breed, we also need a licence to own a dog. New neighbours, came with a dog, only dog in the area that barks at all hours (because it is let out to piss by its owner and left for an hour with roos in the bush). The...

Qantas Project Sunrise goes ahead, 12 new A350-1000s ordered

I'd say it never is. The little(r) plane is just the enabler for QF (and others) to run long skinny routes. I'm saying that most Australians will still be better served by the plethora of hub/spoke routes that will get them closer to their destination in more comfort and with the same or less...

Qantas Project Sunrise goes ahead, 12 new A350-1000s ordered

Are you talking countries or cities? London isn't the UK. Hub and spoke lets ME3 serve Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle etc. all far more convenient for many than London. Since QF only has little planes departing PER they don't really need "plenty of people", just enough stuck on ones happy to go...

Qantas Project Sunrise goes ahead, 12 new A350-1000s ordered

Interesting how much of QF9/10 traffic is from MEL? I imagine it'll plummet once it only goes from PER. Not starting a flight to LHR with a 737 leg.

QF12 Business Class to First Upgrade

It may be a work trip, but it's vacation from the moment you start heading for home (or it should treated as one).

Just when you thought you had seen it all in the Qantas lounge...

Why? The perpetrator wasn't concerned about the act in a public place, they had no concern or understanding of their audience at the time they performed the act but knew they were doing it in a public place. Why does it become everyone else's problem to insulate them from their actions...

Just when you thought you had seen it all in the Qantas lounge...

Yet the original post was about filing nails. The detritus from filling nails over the carpet may be no less offensive to most (myself included) it will be completely invisible compared to cutting nails over a table.

Just when you thought you had seen it all in the Qantas lounge...

With the background noise of a lounge you wouldn't hear a decibel from a nail being filed.

    QF new Look Booking website

I tried looking for some CR seats yesterday and it was impossibly slow and VERY unusable. If you tick the box for flexible with dates and have asked for J CR flights then just give me the calendar matrix with available J seat dates, or the multi booking calendar with all CR class availability...
