Especially with the QF UI. I was just looking to see what's available. I ask for J rewards and it gives me Y. I ask for PE $ fares mel-lhr and it gives me 737 mel-per after a bunch of A330 to SIN. Does the ribbon tell you what class of CR is available or does it always just show from Y rates...

Those seats should/would have been installed with a greater pitch so they'd lose rows, and what to do with all that extra width in the A380? Add an extra seat to each aisle?

But if someone is prepared to be patient and takes longer to earn that million points, then they should still be able to get that CR, just less regularly. And as per your own example, then let the P1 pay that same CR+ redemption rate if they are indeed equivalent to the PC+ earner. Perhaps...

Loyal doesn't necessarily mean frequent though. If you loyally earn QF points and only fly a couple of times a year, why should you be excluded from access to CR seats? That's precisely the premise of PC.

This becomes a short term thing. People will eventually realise the currency is worth much less than they thought. As someone else pointed out you are not looking at the cost of the equivalent QF fare, but the price of the BFOD in that cabin.

P1s are probably the last people they should be asking if they're looking to understand mass market sentiment.

I'd say it never is. The little(r) plane is just the enabler for QF (and others) to run long skinny routes. I'm saying that most Australians will still be better served by the plethora of hub/spoke routes that will get them closer to their destination in more comfort and with the same or less...

Are you talking countries or cities? London isn't the UK. Hub and spoke lets ME3 serve Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle etc. all far more convenient for many than London. Since QF only has little planes departing PER they don't really need "plenty of people", just enough stuck on ones happy to go...

Interesting how much of QF9/10 traffic is from MEL? I imagine it'll plummet once it only goes from PER. Not starting a flight to LHR with a 737 leg.

Yet the original post was about filing nails. The detritus from filling nails over the carpet may be no less offensive to most (myself included) it will be completely invisible compared to cutting nails over a table.
