Late afternoon yesterday at Gold Coast OOL. Wild mushroom soup throughout the afternoon, dinner from 4pm included veal ravioli and a warm frittata. Decent food and one of my favourite VA lounges for the view!

Penang chicken curry with jasmine rice in the SYD lounge last night, along with the usual sandwich and salad bar. Wow it was busy in there!

Saw some similar flights yesterday although that was due to the friends and family code. The flight I booked unfortunately was not one of them but J was only $100 extra. Of course for the status credits, I couldn't resist!

I got the same email yesterday. Haven't had any reward flights and I am 99% confident all my recent flights, including those with partners, have posted. I just chalked it up to an email distribution error.

Mine seemed to show up with the original posting, I was expecting 20 SCs from a Getaway fare and got 40. Am now a Gold Member for another twelve months!

Meals from my recent SYD-AKL return flight. VA147 to Auckland on Friday evening - Service started with a drink and choice of nuts/olives/chips, they were happy to serve all three but I just went with the nuts. Dinner was BBQ spiced lamb shepherd's pie, served with cheese, quince and crackers...

Bid $180 (about $30 above the minimum) each way for SYD-AKL return and was successful on both legs. I'm Gold anyway so the only real benefits that I wouldn't have received anyway were in-flight, but definitely enjoyed the service!
