I agree with most things you post but appealing to consumer laws regarding Krisflyer redemptions I feel won't go far. I feel for you citusb, and I'd push for mixed while there has been no official communicated change but for everyone else it looks like times are a changing....

What error? I had password errors because it didn't match all the requirements. Fixed it up and worked fine..

It's annoying how companies can fight over it based on "reasonably last" and what is reasonable. eg. Samsung tried to tell me a 72" $8,000 tv lasted a reasonable amount of time when it broke at 3 years old :rolleyes:

LA: The Georgian Hotel (Santa Monica), Hollywood Roosevelt. Case Del Mar, Loews and the Huntley all good but a step up in price. Las Vegas: Aria, Vdara, MGM Signature. Planet Hollywood also but not as nice.

I wish this process were more straight forward. Barriers to entry are just too much even with such a good deal.

Added my airberlin FF number to my CX booking on the CX website.

Did it when this thread was first posted. All worked fine. Had no need for it until today when most seats in the cabin were blocked so I used airberlin status and I could select all. Saved a call to CX. Thanks.

Re: Melbourne to keep A380 year round I was let down by the Fat Duck. Was ok but has to be the biggest miss from expectations to experience. This was about 4 years now though so hopefully it is better or it might even just be me and not them. Sounds like a good little trip :D.

I did BNE-AUH-IAD earlier this year (in F no less) and didn't fully recover my entire 4 week trip. A crying baby on the second leg resulting in no sleep didn't help but it probably didn't make a huge difference.

Not sure if using Krisflyer points for Star Alliance flights is the best use. Did you search for F out of other EU ports on SQ or only FRA? But if you are happy then all seems to have worked out well. :)

That has to be the largest serving of caviar I have seen on a EK F review :).

I used JAL primarily to find seats and double checked with BA+Qantas. They saw the same availability as I saw with JAL which was 2F and at least 4J.
