Haven't booked SQ with VA points before - is there usually much availability?

This happened to me late June - SQ222 connecting to 366 (which was pushed back 30 mins). I accepted the change and got the same message as you everytime I logged in. We had no problems doing OLCI and all went fine. Bit unsettling but assume it is a glitch in their system

I did it a couple of months ago and it took around 3 weeks - very frustrating

In late sept/early Oct I've got 3 A350 flights and all seem to be on regional layout. Syd - Sin, Sin DXB and DXB-Sin. Are Sing mostly flying this layout or have I just been unlucky?
