I applied & received the AMEX Velocity Plat last year. waited the 18month AMEX exclusion period & had the AMEX escape card for few years prior. churn ~3 visa/mastercard cards a year.

Can't you transfer once you see a use for the points, as in a reward seat pops up that suits you? Don't have to transfer all 10M points at once do you? Is it an instant transfer?

Imo there's been a couple good Amex offers recently, nothing ground breaking but financially beneficial as been discussed up thread. @Comoman clearly there's many uses for 3M+ points, maybe you just wanted to drop you have that many.
