I’ve started using Cathay again instead of qantas for flights to Asia, sooo much better service, planes, crew, food etc

That old adage about “….. the circus moves on” will almost certainly apply to qantas. Once the media hoopla dies down all the Blah we love you Blah we are truly sorry Blah will once again just be hollow rhetoric from the new ceo and board etc. vote with your wallet move on asap.

I have used the call centre in Manila a few times their service was very good although they have to defer to qantas for most things

Have had a number of contacts with P’pinnes call centres over the years and pretty much always had good service, trying to help within the limitations of their role.
