That would have been an intersting tasting. IMHO - the Cullen Merlot Malbec Petit Verdot of that rough era is probably one of the greatest value Australian wines in a Bordelias-ish style [that I have ever purchased]. What was your WOTN?

I bought a few of these, as well as a few in the larger sizes (2L, 3L)... Whilst they do "work", I personally find that the weight of the conical flask is quite different to a normal carafe, and also the fact that the spout doesn't widen at the top means they do feel like they may be easy to...

I just noticed that an Endeavour marketplace deal for a Vinomofo grey import wine at their claimed/inflated RRP was available with "sold and delivered via Vinomofo" buried in small text. I wonder if they would actually sell and deliver via this channel at the higher RRP? If they did, any RRP...

And it is reasonably priced compared to my usual haunts, such as L'Ambroisie which accepts payment in kidneys... and probably serves up kidney tartare... who knows with the French

At least the restaurant you have selected presents their wines by terrior (sort of)... even in the English American Flag menu, which is perhaps best for AFFers, as our collective français est un fromage retardé

My birthday is 5 April every year, so I might come, only on the condition that @Goodonya doesn't sing at me... But he won't find this thread for another ~13 months, so I better be copper until then.
