I did have a chuckle the other night in the VA lounge at ADL. For the first time, at least for me, I was a bit surprised to hear an announcement for boarding of the Qatar flight to Doha and quite a few people make their way out of the lounge to the departure gate ...,😃. So, if they were booked...

There was certainly more than a few hundred outside parliament building in Canberra.

I think family pooling is novel and a good thing. I'm thinking generally a lot of VA travellers are leisure. They may travel, quite often, on many sectors as couples or family's. The pooling could be the reason why they choose Virgin over Qantas or Jetstar.

Kings arrival into CBR yesterday. Have better pictures on my "proper" camera! Only minor road closures around the capital that I could see and the diversions worked well.

Yesterday, I think I counted 16 340s in various state of repair/maintenance at Wagga Wagga. Despite this...I can only assume.they don't even have the routes to maintain so many on the books?

Many reasons to have both. Routes, frequency and advance pricing. Additionally QF while unfortunately One World are generally rubbish compared to VA. I have BAEC Gold, I seldom fly QF. Am today ironically, on a delayed flight to Canberra.
