Living in China, I would probably take Hong Kong Airlines (Part of the HNA group) ahead of Sichuan airlines. There are also nonstops on Air China and (as mentioned above) Cathay Dragon. Enjoy your flight on CZ. You do need to reset expectations somewhat after being used to airlines like QF, EK, SQ, MH etc in Y. CZ is somewhat basic. However, I generally find them much better than MU. Living in Beijing currently I tend to travel CA or HU by first preference, then CZ, then others..
