I got this offer but for 2,000pts. Have two seperate offers - one for 22-25 Feb and the other presumably for 26 Feb-3 Mar. Both offers state 22 Feb start date but have different end dates - 25 Feb & 3 Mar.

The error occurred at the payment stage, so before any policy number was issued. I took screenshots of the offer details (just prior to the point that you enter CC details) so will be able to give them a date and time it occurred.

I have three $33 charges on my CC with no policy confirmation. I’ll leave it a week or so before asking for a refund in case the points happen to come through anyway.

Anyone else been getting an error message at payment but the payment still gets charged? IE no policy confirmation but still a charge to the CC?

No. I always leave it on manual transfer. Only switched over to auto specifically for this bonus.

No, I wouldn’t because there is no such thing. There is no grey area here. It is black or white. Eligible or ineligible. Why would you add a buffer period for a CC application when they send you a letter with a closure date on it? If the letter says closed 1 June then you know exactly what date...

Why are they borderline? The terms are pretty clear and you are either outside the exclusion period or you are not. Don’t think it makes any difference having any sort of buffer period.
