Transiting to Scoot in SIN with carry on

That is what I expected too. Oh well, I might have to tag along on her next trip to see for myself ;)

Transiting to Scoot in SIN with carry on

They made Mrs HockeyMonkey go landside coming home Scoot -> Qantas as well. Something is not adding up here.

Transiting to Scoot in SIN with carry on

It was on one PNR. I assume web checkin would have been available, but transit ground staff directed her to go land side. If online checkin is the answer, at least we know for next time. She is going to be transiting this rout MEL-KCH fairly regularly.

Transiting to Scoot in SIN with carry on

QF35 left MEL late yesterday shortening Mrs HockeyMonkey's connection time to TR430 in SIN from 2h 35m to about an hour. She only had carry on, but was forced to go landslide to get a boarding pass resulting in her missing her flight (just). Is there a reason she could not use a transit desk...

Qantas Upgrades - Successes or Failures (post results)

I also didn't get any text messages for successes or failures on my recent trip. I wonder if they have a system issue. Ticked the box about accepting upgrades until boarding as I always have, but have previously received text messages.

    Successful CSM requests

As a WP, the CSM greeted me shorty after takeoff of a recent MEL-LAX flight where I was in the small upstairs Y cabin. She gave me the usual express arrival card but also said to just ask the crew if I wanted anything from the J cabin. During the normal service with the regular crew, I asked...

Qantas Upgrades - Successes or Failures (post results)

As a WP QF93 MEL-LAX on Sun Oct 21, requested J succeeded with Y+ upgrade QF94 LAX-MEL on Thu Oct 25, flight was overbooked and I failed to get any upgrade. In future business travel I’d consider staying until Friday when QF96 also runs LAX-MEL to maximize my chances with downside of arrive on...

Flight Availability/Loadings & Upgrade Probability Help Desk

Thanks. Looks promising for the trip over, but less so for the return. I guess that makes sense for the day time vs overnight flight. I particularly chose QF94 rather than QF96 to increase my chances.

Could someone please post loadings for QF93 on Oct 21 and QF94 on Oct 25? Hoping for some J upgrades as a WP

Refused guest child access to TBIT OW lounge when flying QF

My SG colleague just returned from a family vacation to Disneyland and on the way home was looking forward to spending some time in the TBIT OW J lounge with his wife and two children. The lounge dragon refused entry for his children stating that the OW policy does not include children as...
