Flying CX ex-ADL to maximise SC earn

I see that the QF SC earn when flying CX in J ADL-HKG is 100 SC compared to 60 when flying say MEL-HKG. I assume due to QF not flying to HKG ex-ADL themselves. On a return J flight that is 100+ extra SC earn when taking into account the MEL-ADL positioning flight. Note, I'm actually looking...

QANTAS Treatment of Frequent Flyer Bookings

Assuming schedule flexibility for the passenger, would you be entitled to demand to fly later in the class originally booked?

    What's your company travel policy?

I work for a US based software company with an office in Melbourne. Travel policy is economy only and must be BFOD within $50USD and must be booked at least 14 days in advance. Employees at the level of Director of above are permitted to book upgradeable fares and use their own points for upgrade.

LATAM domestic flights in Peru some helpful information

I had a similar experience recently when booking flights with Vietnam airlines SIN -> SGN -> DAD -> HAN -> SIN Saved hundreds of dollars by booking via expedia.com.sg rather than expedia.com.au or even www.vietnamairlines.com Shows it really does pay to look around

Are Qantas Double Status Credit Promos Really Worth It?

Agree generally with the sentiment, however working for an employer with a Y travel policy, status makes life a lot more comfortable upgrade wise.

Are Qantas Double Status Credit Promos Really Worth It?

Last year's QF DSC in August aligned with an AY sale. My QF reset date was 1 Sep and I was back to WP by by 16 Sep helped by Typhoon Mongkut and some ORC with duplicate crediting. Happy days.

Qantas Upgrades - Successes or Failures (post results)

And now Y->J success on the return QF94 LAX-MEL at T-60 as a WP. I was a little surprised it cleared this early as QF96 is not flying on a Thursday so expected less availability on QF94. Fingers crossed Mrs HockeyMonkey as a NB on a separate ticket has some success or it might get awkward.

Flight Availability/Loadings & Upgrade Probability Help Desk

Could someone please recheck QF93 MEL->LAX for me on Sunday June 23. It is now T-48 but no upgrade has come through in W or J. Doing some dummy bookings on the QF website, there seems to be F2 J1 W0

Family guesting into Melbourne First lounge

You could try your luck getting all three of you into the F lounge and if that doesn’t work, guest one into the J lounge and one into the F lounge.

Flight Availability/Loadings & Upgrade Probability Help Desk

Plans slightly changed as Mrs HockeyMonkey had to travel for business as well and we are aligning our return flight. How do the following currently look QF93 MEL - LAX departing June 23 QF94 LAX - MEL departing July 11 The latter is Flex Y, so pretty full I expect but fingers crossed...

Who has invaded my body, please stand up

All my business travel is in Y and churn a lot of credit cards to keep the points rolling in. The main benefits of WP I find valuable are (in order of priority) - Increased probability of successful upgrade requests - Ability to request QF premium cabin award flights to be opened up - F lounge...

My application was approved within 12 hours with only a payslip upload and no follow up calls. Mrs HockeyMonkey was called after 4 days to confirm details in the applicatio,n after which it was immediately approved without any further documentation. No idea why the different approach was needed

I think they are still called a Citi Signature Rewards card. As long as the application process asked for your QFF number, you should be ok.

Yes, however they didn't ask for any evidence to prove it.
