Will you vaccinate with Conoravirus vaccine when one is available?

Maybe I have got this wrong, I thought one of things to do was to make sure the most vulnerable people are protected. If they are not vaccinating the over 85's, then how can we expect them to loosen restrictions/borders?

Predictions of when international flights may resume/bans lifted

The situation in the UK, US and India are a lot more desperate compared to us here. So it is understandable for them to throw caution to the wind.

Predictions of when international flights may resume/bans lifted

I guess that most of us are too attached to zeroes/doughnuts that the thought of anything that may increase the risk even a tiny bit [ eg, traffic light quarantine system] - seems unpalatable politically. When it comes down to it, there would only be a minority who have family...

All international travelers will be quarantined in hotels or designated facilities

Predictions of when international flights may resume/bans lifted

According to the smh the $3000 only covers part of the costs of the quarantine process. Article also mentions anecdotal reports of people leaving Australia and returning multiple times. I presume only Australian citizens and PR's not living in Australia have been able to do that. Really...

Predictions of when international flights may resume/bans lifted

I am rather curious about the situation in NZ. Why is it that they have not been having cases from returned travellers? Or is it that they don't have any returned travellers? No flights?

Predictions of when international flights may resume/bans lifted

Yes, I feel this trans Tasman bubble increasingly improbable. Considering that NZ is looking at relaxing ALL distancing restrictions. Will Australia reach that point in the coming months?

The way out of lockdowns etc in Australia

Yeah, I just wish the government would at least recommend people wear some sort of masks. Why ignore a measure that can potentially cut transmission?

All International Arrivals into Australia to self isolate for 14 days

I was curious, so I looked at the sydney airport website. So we are expecting 9 international flight arrivals today. But how does that reconcile with expecting only 250 Australians to arrive home today??? The flights are averaging 30 pax each???
