In years past, we used to be able to buy gift vouchers which generates a PNR and slowly use them throughout the year as the need for travel arise, still earning DSC. Not sure if I’m willing to risk this strategy with the current wording. Wondering also what happens if you do a flexi booking now...

I was thinking that the Cancelled flex voucher would then sit in my Qantas profile which I can change without involving AMEX. Therefore no change fee involved.

I’m thinking of turning an expiring $450 AMEX travel credit into a flex DSC PNR by booking a flex fare on the AMEX website. This would essentially sort out the expiry of the travel credit and allow flexibility of future travel plans with DSC attached. The eventual flight needs to be above $450...
