Yeah it would be different because the herbs used are different. Song Fa's only has white pepper, salt, spices and permitted enhancers so much less herbs. I haven't personally tried it on SQ's BTC but I cook it at home quite often so would be interesting to make a comparison. Perhaps on my next...

The BKT served on SQ flights is from Song Fa, which is the Teochew-style peppery type and a little different to the usual BKT. It doesn't come with the normal ingredients such as YouTiao and mushrooms etc. but is still tasty nonetheless.

Having just been to Kanazawa in May, I can attest that it's indeed a fantastic city to spend a few days. I enjoyed it more than Kyoto, even though that was during autumn with the maddening crowds. Stayed 3 nights at Forza Kanazawa and it was splendid.

T-4 is great as it gives us more time to do some last minute souvenir shopping at the duty-free shops before hitting the lounge ;)

Travelled on QF80 last Thursday night on the 9:05pm flight. When we reached Haneda at 5:15pm, there were already lines of people checking in for both economy and business. I was surprised but looks like it's not 3 hours prior.

Yep ADL-KUL does not have the pre-order meal service but it was a pretty light load so I stuffed myself with satays, think I had 4 of each (chicken/beef) 😅
