I cancelled my plat charge in march 2020 but still have access to the AFR, was hoping that I'd be able to leach this benefit for little longer but looks like it'll be gone soon.

Went to cancel my Charge card this morning, no bonus points offered only the option to go down to a Gold/Green charge. The Platinum reserve companion card which comes with it has its annual fee due in June so will cancel this then as I still have an unused travel credit.

Ta 👍 So I will get something a bit more substantial. Still very inconsistent as a flight between SYD and DRW is of a similar length yet you don't get a meal. You do get a "snack box" which is more substantial than what you'd get on a shorter sector.

All spg accounts whether linked/merged have had their points balances multiplied by 3 automatically. There is no arbitrage available, so no point even discussing the possibility.
