You need N for Y award release. Absolutely no chance with Y only and as mentioned correctly by @Brettmcg there is no mechanism for seat release on Domestic other than the bot even for P1.

Won’t help those that book their own travel but a decent TA can enter different FF numbers per sector when booking it. Saves faffing around with AY / RJ etc.

It’s in the T&Cs that it adds to P1 up until 31st December this year. After that it will just be LT tally, which I’m ok with as I always take the SCs long after I have requalified for P1 anyway.

No it wouldn’t make any sense to use the Dom lounge. The food options at BNE Int lounge are far, far better than the Dom J lounge EDIT And yes is the answer to Q1. You will be checked through to LAX at SYD

I have enough years of Diamond and just over 75% of the base points. Will take me another 3-4 years likely.
