    AMEX FOREX Closing

Was on the phone with Yak Pay in mid-July, asked if funding to an FX provider with Amex will be possible in the future because AMEX FOREX was shutting down, she said it was never allowed because Amex had their own product to sell, I asked if that might change post Jul 31, she said they are going...

    Flighty app

I only go on a couple big trips a year so just subscribe for a month when I head off instead of the whole year, then cancel before it rolls over to the next (assuming I am home). Not needed for any short domestic hops for me The live activity on your Home Screen showing all the relevant info is...

Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

No idea what HK is ha! I have best success through Facebook messenger. Get through the chat bot by typing ‘operator’ and in the past, about 8-12 hours later a real person responds and can have a fairly quick back and forward. So much easier to write things down and the people on the other end...

Qantas Promises to Fix Ongoing Reward Flight Ticketing Failures

Recently I cancelled two bookings using the online cancel button. Called up shortly afterwards to ask for points back quickly so could book something else and was told would have to wait. HUACA and got a helpful gentleman who was able to get all points back in account on a 10min phone call...

Go to manage booking at RJ (on website, I think better than app), scroll down to 'Travellers' and you can see ticket number against each person. When you click on it it gives the date issued aswell, if no e-ticket you wont see anything there under your FF number

    Buying Velocity points

For everyones information, I purchased points yesterday at 7.04am to top up to a rewards booking, expecting them to arrive within a few minutes (as mentioned in the article on AFF and in other places online), they didn't arrive until about 7.08am this morning (24 hours later), I called them...

Just type in 'Operator' and it should connect you. Might take 8-12 hours for initial reply though, but if you then reply promptly they get back to you quickly

    Buying Velocity points

Anyone purchased recently and know how long it took for the points to arrive? Needed just a few for an award seat and purchased about 1 hour ago, and they haven't arrived. Transaction is showing up on the card. I know Ts&Cs say up to 24 hours, but nearly all guides I read said should be...

Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

Recently did one ticket MXP>LHR>DXB>MEL, first two legs on BA and last on EK, agent in Milan wouldn't check our bags through onto EK, but we had 12 hours so wasn't fussed about grabbing them as were going landside to a hotel anyway, so didn't bother pushing him on it even though I had looked and...

    Giro d'...toddler?

No disc at all! That's impressive for so long, maybe they didn't have the artificial disks to replace it with back then? A mate got some sort of titanium disk replacement a few years ago when his went AWOL

    Giro d'...toddler?

We just caught the train in everywhere, but kept that in mind when booking our accommodation. Places like Hong Kong the train is so easy, and in Milan the airport is so far away other transfers cost a pretty penny and take a similar amount of time. Try not to dread it! Holidaying is just...
