I applied in February this year for Diamond and got the confirmation email start of March stating I will be diamond through till Mar 31 2020. So it seems you don’t get the extra months.

Hi all, I'm currently Velocity gold and I am wondering if I have the complimentary gold with IHG/Hilton once I go Platinum can I take out Diamond with the other or will the one I choose as gold be upgraded? Same for Europcar and Hertz. Basically trying to get both as I will go Platinum 4 months...
