I've been buying since the 2009 vintage and so far never missed out, red crayon. Sent my letter back the day after I received it (3 July) but no credit card charge for me yet. Called them yesterday to ask if my order was received but had to leave a message.
Not looking promising...
Vintage Cellars at Burnside has some Seppelt Drumborg Pinot Noir 2016 left for $19.99. Also some Paracombe Shiraz for $10.
They also had the 2017 pinot but looks like that's all gone.
SA Red crayon and probably 6 years in, received my full order about 2 weeks ago. 2 x SM, 1 x SM, 4 x S, 1 x CM, 2 x CS and a Pressings.
I've never not received an order but have missed the CS in one year.
I fly a few times a year and save points for family trips, so not a frequent flyer but I do fly and for me status would be helpful if it meant a few more reward seats were available or if it lifted my international upgrade percentage from 0 to anything over 1. I'm also Q Club so would be in the...
That's what I was getting at. I thought RooFlyer was saying that there are people earning points on corporate spend (not flying) that was not their own spend. I don't see how that is possible.
Anyway, it's all moot until more details on the Points Club are released. Hopefully it can benefit the...
I hope that the Points Club offers a "modified" status, perhaps a touch more availability, some QC passes maybe. I agree that it would be unfair to offer status on as little as 150k per year as I understand the hard slog that it is to work your way up the status ladder. I had a big year of...
I don't necessarily disagree however it's not a zero sum game here, a few high spenders get gifted status does not mean that status is taken from some flyers.
I just don't get the complaints from people that have status whilst barely ever opening their own wallet to do so. Assumptions yes, but...
But also getting paid a handsome wage in many cases.
Points and status for nothing yet complaining about people that specifically collect points using their own money in the hope they might be able to use them for a trip away every now and then.
