Managing Westjet flights booked on QF points

Just return from trip. Yes, I have used QF points to fly "free" with Westjet. Unfortunately, yes we have to pay for the suitcase when we accessed online check-in! :( It costs about AUD$50 (in USA and Canada). What we have learnt our lesson is that we should not go shopping to buy so many...

    Ask The Pilot

Even some pilots don't like to wear hats. However, I think that ANA/JAL pilots (no confirmed) must wear hats for their safety reasons. If an oil dropped from the wing to the pilots' head/eye while they were checking the aircraft, then it's likely the pilot may be unfit for work.

No staff no stairs to disembark!

When Qantas 744 arrived CDG very early in the morning (at about 5am), there was no staff working in the CDG terminal 1, so we had to wait for an hour in the middle of the taxiiway. So glad that QF crew gave out free champ/sparkling to all classes. It was my longest break record haha!

Virgin Australia to lease more 737s

Interesting that I flew on an ex-KLM 737-700. So surprised to see that seats aren’t belonged to Virgin Australia and also no inflight entertainment wifi.

    Ask The Pilot

When I flew with 737MAX, I heard the wheels were making funny noise while taxing on the tarmac. But no noise on old 737s and A320s. Has anyone heard of that on 737MAX?

Jetstar/Qantas/Virgin cabin baggage dimensions - how strictly are they enforced?

When I was in the Brisbane domestic terminal, I have not seen and heard that jetstar staff aren't worried about dimension of the suitcase but worried about the weight. For example, you put a suitcase on the weight but they want all your handbags and even micro bags on the weight, then pile them...
