I suspect they were WPs on afternoon/evening flights and there was one group with a lot of sporting luggage. I couldn't see any F hosts. When in F, I always request a host so never had to queue as BPs are generally preprinted.

It is not uncommon for the FF whose points are being used to show up on the PNR for another pax. Has happened to me several times on BA. I presume it’s just how the several FF fields are displayed (there are fields for the redeemed points accountholder, the flyer and more).
