Strange they didn’t want to change the date as it’s within the T&C. Your expiring points shouldn’t be an issue since you move the arrival date back, not forward. Anyway, glad it all worked out for you in the end 🙂

Yes, that should work as you are only changing the date.

Unfortunately once the booking has been ticketed it’s not possible to change the destination unless you agree to cancel and rebook the whole itinerary. Your best option ATM is to keep an eye on flights to BNE for the dates you need in case they become available.

Agree about the 350 Reg seats, they are bad. However there were other options for MEL pax like booking on 777 or connecting via SYD. As someone who’s based in BNE I have to connect often to fly F or to secure the correct J config and can honestly say it’s very easy but I guess for some pax it’s...

Went there for BYO lunch during the previous promo. Not cheap but food was good and service very attentive. Amex cashback and the option to bring premium wines from the cellar take the sting out of the final bill.

So fresh! IIRC this is the second vintage Vat 47 changed to more delicate and textural style. It shows in the colour which is still very bright after 10 years.

Glenlivet 15 at $122 before 15% Westpac and 20% ShopBack is pretty sharp too.

When flying solo I also prefer 777 but with my wife I’d definitely go for 380 both in F and J for the double bed. While the middle bulkhead seats in J can’t be pre-booked anymore without KF status we were lucky before to score them prior to departure and they are great IMO.
