With Aerotel the key is to book ahead and take advantage of the 10% off member offer. Last year I normally paid ~$SGD135 which is fair for a good night sleep IMO.

I’m familiar with the SQ J lounge and it is not as comfortable as you make it sound IMO. I prefer an airside hotel for proper sleep during overnight layovers but YMMV.

Depends on your class of travel, the F lounge will be open and has nap rooms. Otherwise you can slum it on a sofa in the J lounge or book 6 hours in proper airside hotel like Ambassador or Aerotel. Personally I would go to the latter, at least this is what I’m doing during medium layovers in Changi.

Can’t remember how it looked back in 2012 but everything there looked familiar, don’t recall a recent refurb. Probably the best F lounge that allows access to status pax regardless the class of travel. I’d say LH FCT is the most impressive I’ve been to so far.

Dinner at Paris Go Bistro theme was 🇫🇷 vs 🇦🇺 White of night was clearly the Puligny Montrachet. Red of the night was split between Giaconda and Sami Odi.

Yep it’s a Gabriel. Agree that Rockford is better but not by that much IMO. Actually had them side by side once to compare. Seppelt 08 was always a favourite for us and it’s nice to be able to open a bottle on a casual Sunday afternoon without thinking about the cost.
