There are more examples which cost far less than quality wines. Look at the menus both in the QF F lounges and onboard. Most airlines offer proper nice looking multi-page menu in their F cabins (many also in J) but QF give you a cheap looking paper written in the ugliest font possible. I know...

The seat selection was not for new suites because there are no suites on 777. You will have to book 380 for that. SQ 777s have first class seats which is an excellent product. You can find multiple reviews with photos on this thread and online about it.

QF pax don’t pay to fly F for decent service, caviar and fancy wines. They do it for the points and SCs!

Pathetic wine list for F, particularly the reds.

IMO $60 is the max value of WB BL. 2012 was good vintage which makes it decent deal but not a bargain by any means.

I’d go for Chard or Shiraz, better for cooking than Rosé :)
